Emergency Medical Responder (Canada)

This 26-title series is based on widely-accepted EMR protocols and provides competency-based training for the Canadian Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) as outlined in the National Occupational Competency Profile (NOCP).

These programs present skills-based training performed by professional responders in realistic scenarios that demonstrate assessment and care for a variety of medical and trauma-related emergencies. Content and course oversight was provided by a program committee of highly qualified doctors, EMS educators, and prehospital care providers.

Additional features include French language and closed-captioning on all programs.

Content is delivered via the ATS Online Streaming Video Library or as a 3-DVD set with 9 titles on each DVD. This training series makes an excellent instructor resource and companion to the text: Emergency Medical Responder:  A Skills Approach.
