Building upon entry-level skills of Firefighter I, this Firefighter II 10-title series is designed to prepare firefighters for more complex operational roles. Aligned with the advanced competencies outlined in NFPA© 1010: Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications. Titles in this series provide training on vehicle extrication rescue (including critical stabilization and hazard control), building construction assessment for fireground safety, effective water supply strategies, the vital role of pre-incident planning, systematic fire origin and cause determination and the development and delivery of impactful community risk reduction programs.
