HAZMAT Awareness

This 2-title series teaches to NFPA^© 470, 1001, and 704 standards. A hazardous materials release can be a very serious health threat to people and to the environment. Responders must be able to quickly recognize and identify hazardous materials to ensure that a proper response can be initiated. These two programs review how to interpret threats and warnings of the presence of hazardous materials in multiple situations a first responder might encounter.
