Incident Command & Management

This 7-title series presents a variety of topics related to the Incident Command System (ICS) and the Incident Management System (IMS), including an overview of the National Incident Management System (NIMS). The development of the command structure and the various management components within ICS are explored. The roles and responsibilities of the command staff and general staff are presented. Included in this series are two titles specific to the role and responsibilities of the Incident Safety Officer, as well as titles that focus on EMS operations within the Incident Command System, and an overview of best practices and recommendations in NFPA 3000 for Fire/EMS response at active shooter events.
