12-Title Fire Operation Support training
Poulsbo, WA – April 2, 2025. Action Training Systems, INC., a leading fire and emergency services training provider, is pleased to announce the release of “Fire Operation Support,” a 12-title training series.
The “Support Person” in NFPA 1010
This comprehensive training addresses the recently added job performance requirements in NFPA 1010, Chapter 5 for the “Support Person” position, which is specifically designed to enhance the capabilities of volunteer fire departments.
Topics include communications, personal protective equipment use, and maintenance, respiratory support responsibilities, use of portable extinguishers, fire classifications, scene safety, lighting and utility shutdown, use of ropes and knots, hose and hydrant operations, and the use, inspection, and maintenance of fireground equipment.
