This 2-title series teaches the current NFPA 470, 1001, and 704 standards. A hazardous material release can be a very serious health threat to people and to the environment.  It is essential that responders are able to quickly recognize and identify the material to ensure that a proper response can be initiated.  These programs review how to interpret threats and warnings of the presence of hazardous materials in multiple situations a first responder might encounter.
